Synopsis

The book deals with the influence of ethnic factor on such aspects of african countries postcolonial development, as lack of evident socio-economic progress, decorative character of their political system’s democratization, implantation of neo-patrimonial mode of governance and prebendal economy, ethnicization of political field, the generating of conflict situations in internal life and in international relations, the stunted process of nation-building.
