The relationship between the nature of the political regime and the nature of its relations with civil society is revealed, and the growth of the influence of public organizations on political governance and on the solution of urgent social problems is traced. For more than a century, discussions have not subsided around them, which do not always end with an understanding of the true meanings of what happened, an awareness of the essence of what happened, an indisputable approximation to the truth. It analyzes current issues related to the development and implementation of the EU Strategy on combating antisemitism and fostering Jewish life (2021–2030).
It is argued that the development of new legislation to combat antisemitism, based on the definition of antisemitism proposed by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA), as well as the implementation of effective measures to support the development of Jewish life (the term "Jewish life" refers to the development of the traditional way of life of the Jews), are important tasks not only for the EU but for the entire civilized world. European efforts in these areas can serve as a benchmark and model for the United States, Canada, and other countries where such practices are just beginning to be established.
The author also analyzes the challenges of combating antisemitism in the EU and the reasons for the increasing emigration of Jews from the European continent. The monograph is intended for political scientists, historians, civil servants from EU countries and EU candidate countries, students of humanities, and all those interested in Jewish Studies.
2025-08-01T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Press of Kuras Institute of Political and Ethnic Studies of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukrainehttps://book.ipiend.gov.ua/catalog/book/785Socio-political solidarity in Ukraine in times of war: monograph 2025-05-23T10:47:59+00:00Олег Рафальськийoffice@ipiend.gov.uaМикола Горбатюкoffice@ipiend.gov.uaЮрій НіколаєцьNikolaets-yu@ukr.netВіталій Перевезійvp@ipiend.gov.uaВячеслав Яремчукsl_yaremchuk@ukr.netГалина Зеленькоzgalina@ukr.netЮрій Шайгородський23.00.01@ukr.netЗореслав Самчукwarrier1@ukr.netТетяна Бевзtetanabevz@gmail.comОлександр Майбородаmayboroda@ipiend.gov.uaЮрій Шаповалshapoblu@gmail.com
The monograph contains an analysis of the state of unity of Ukrainian society based on the conceptualisation of the phenomenon of solidarity, including in its socio-political manifestation. The transformation of regional political elite identities and its political values was revealed. The policy of regional identity is conditioned by the culture of regional elites, their ideas about the past and future of the region, the country. Regional political elites often contribute to the growth of polar and conflicting identities. In the process of studying political behavior, it was proved that the chosen line of behavior of the regional political elite of Sumy region was not always consistent, as it was subject to the influence of many environmental factors and individual characteristics of the elite.
2022-06-20T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2022 Bevz T.
